Default Leaking tranny cooler line

I have an 07 chev vortec max with a leaking tranny cooler line. Do I HAVE to drop the trans to fix it?

The line is going to be tucked away on its way to the radiator and should be an easy fix there should be no reason to drop the tranny. I have never heard of dropping it to change it. Let us know if you need actual help on changing it and I'll try to give you the best instructions.

Cool man thanks. I was told by the dealer that they had to drop it. I had to go out of town for work so I never saw it with my own eyes. I kinda wanted a second opinion

not sure exactly what vehicle you're talking about but no I've never seen where the transmission needs messed with at all other than unhooking the lines.
