Low trany fluid
HI,Here is something that i ran across that is hard to believe we have a
1993 3500 silverado with a 6.5 Lt diesel with automatic that will not go into OD from what my son says,i checked the fluid and all i saw was foam on the end of dip stick,so i figure it is about 3qts low of trany fluid.
Now here is the weird part his brother told him if the trany filter gets plugged up it will spit out the trany fluid does not sound too logical to me i just have not figured out who had the only brain cell HE and his friend are sharing i may wrong i do not think so,thanks

Not usually,
When they push oil out, either the vent is plugged or the transmssion has been running hot. Being that far low on oil, there should be a strong indication of where the oil went.
If no oil tracks, the first place I'd check would be the transfer case to make sure the tranny oil hasn't migrated.
