Default Mode actuator stuck in defrost mode.

After jumping off my truck from a dead battery, my mode actuator only works in the defrost mode. I have tried the recalibration methods with no luck. The truck is a 2004 silverado with the single zone control. The temperature works fine as well as the fan speed. The recirculate button also works. I would appreciate any help trying to get this fixed.
Thanks,
Philip

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I've tried that already. I left the battery off overnight. Since it looks like I'm going to dig into the dash, what components should I focus on? Are there any other options before I dig in?

It seems that the "stuck in defrost mode" issue has been addressed before, but I have not found a posted solution. Any help on this ? ?
