hey guys i have a 1993 k1500 v6 4.3L and am looking for a V8 preferably a 350 5.7 but im trying to figure out what all i would have to do or where i can find parts that i need. if anyone could help me out that would be great thanks.

 

If I were you Id skip the 5.7 idea and go with a 5.3 its a better motor. You will need the engine wire harness. ANd the computer to make it work but should plug right in with out major alterations. Check your local craigslist or ebay should find plenty of people selling 5.3 complete engines and computers. Parts are available everywhere. Double check to make sure your tranny will bolt up but Im guessing you have a 4L60E which will bolt right up. Good luck!

 

ok ill see what i can find. about the wire harness and computer i have no idea where to look for that at other than a junk yard. and yes the tranny is the 4l60 e. thanks for the help @sweetEmotion
