Default Mud/Dirt Under Door Ploblem

Hope some one can help me with this. I have an 09 Silverado 1500 Ext cab and when ever it has rained, the underside of both doors are dirty/muddy. I do not have mud flaps on. It almost seems like the weather stripping is not sealing properly. I looked at it and it looks fine but I thought maybe some one else ran into this and had an idea what it is

Do you mean that it is getting IN the vehicle through a closed door?

Yes. After driving I'll open the front doors and it will be all dirty and wet under the door where the weather stripping is.

hmm.. very interesting..i would try replacing the rubber seal strip along it. it sounds like there is a crack or dry-rotted place in it somewhere

Hmmm, that is strange. Did you buy it new and all of the sudden the problem started? If the car had previous owners may be it had problems and they did some work on the door? When did you start noticing the problem?

Well I looked at it closer and with the door shut I was laying under it and can see that there are tiny pebbles of rocks in between the seal and door. Plus the little plastic fasteners are loose so the seal can move. The bottom line is I am going to replace them and see it that stops it. Does anyone know where I can get them other from the dealer? I have been looking and can't really find them. I can fine the whole door seal but not the bottom seal.

I think this explains the problem.
