is it drive by wire?
Is there a throttle cable attached to the gas pedal? or just some wires?

i have a 2000 silverado and mine is powered by the cruise box which has a cable attached to a motor inside which is also attached by the cable to my throttle inder the hood. im sure it also has to be attached to your computer which may need to be professionaly done. but its just mounting the box, connecting it to your computer and you might need a new throttle **** thing. i dont know what its called but that way ou can have your gas pedal cable and the cruise cable. check into that. and any dealership would order one for you
