Default Need help! Injector problems!!

I have a 1992 4X4 Chevy 1500 4.3L v6 i just recently got the truck from a friend who apperently didnt know you were suppost to put oil in the motor haha. so i went to the junk yard and got another one.....same year and everything....i replaced all the seals except for the intake manifold. i put EVERYTHING from the original motor back on the new one, so after i got it all back together the fuel pump didnt work. i soon found out that this was a previous problem so i just put a new one in it. now i have great pressure all the way up to the throttle body but i just cant get the injectors to spray! the truck runs on starter fluid so i know it has spark, ive changed the ignition controle module 2 times, all the fuses and relays are good. there is 12V of power going to the injector A&B fuse and 12V going to the ECM fuse. when i put the volt meter on the injector connecters and i had my buddy turn the truck over both the drivers side and the passenger side both read 0V i am stumped. im starting to think that its the computer but it was perfectly fine before the new motor.

any advice would be nice!!
thanks,
Kolby

Have you tried following the wires from the injectors to the place where you're loosing power? You sure all ground connections are fine?

iv changed some motors and had to get the control module for that motor motors may look the same on the outside but not on the inside and did you disconnect the battery before doing any work could of shorted a wire blowing the ecm or pinched a wire

I just had this problem... I tried pouring gas directly into the top of the throttle body, if you can run it for a sec that explains your clog and where it is. IF your throttle body is positioned vertical verses horizontal try the quick start spary to test it out. Our problems sound very similar. after the truck started with the gas at the throttle body i was able to remove the clog from the fuel lines from the back of the TB. Are you hearing your fuel pump for a few seconds at turn over? If so, sounds like my situation. Hope this helps... Good luck!!
