Looking into buying a 07 silverado. Its an LTZ ext cab. The only thing im on edge about is that it has got 190000 miles on it. Listed at 12900 and have them down around the 11500 range. Its in great shape drives like a dream nothing wrong with it cosmetically. just wondering what would be a reasonable price with that amount of miles.. blue books at 12400. Also, i know that the allisons are great trannys but how many miles do you think they can put out before going out?

Is it a diesel? If not I wouldn't pay that kind of money for a gas motor with that many miles.

Way too much money for that kind of mileage. I would even have a had time paying 5k-6k with that mileage. At that mileage you could be expecting major repairs soon like engine, transmission, differentials, or transfer case especially if it was not maintained well. You can almost be sure you will need 1 before its paid off.
