Default Need new leaf springs

Hey guys new to the forum.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
I chaned the brakes on my dad’s 2006 Silverado hybrid. this weekend and noticed something bad. He carries a lot of weight on the truck and has become more and more over the years. When I removed the rear tire I noticed the leaf springs are beyond flat. The truck is sitting on the bump stops. Don’t know how he doesn’t feel that when he drives... So my question is what should I do for him? Clearly the stock springs aren't strong enough. So should I replace with 1500Hd or 2500 springs? Or get new 1500 springs and a good add-a-leaf? Also where should I buy? Anybody have any advice?

Thanks in advance, Kris
