My Z71 has a six inch lift. I just bought it the vehicle. The shocks need replacing. I measured the shocks and they are 26" long. I want a shock that goes six inches both way. The ones on there are painted black so I'm unable to get any info from the existing shocks. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

Look at the shocks closely as many of the manufacturers stamp numbers on the shock itself.

 

Bilstein 5100s for a 6" lift and call it a day
