Default new to chevys...

hello everyone. im the proud new owner of a '91 c1500! im new to chevys so i was wondering if there are any problems or concerns with this year of truck that i should be worried about? heres whatsup with the truck

-218,020 miles
-small block 305
-flowmasters
-some sort of mud tires

and i plan on doing these things to it in the near future-

-coolant system flush
-drop engine and replace rear crankshaft seal (minor leak)
-paint one solid color LOL
-maybe clean up the interior a little bit

it used to belong to a lucas county sheriff in ohio, then got passed around to at least 3 different owners before it ended up in my hands. body and frame are solid, engine runs like new, and tranny shifts like a champ! no slipping at all! i have to say that im quite impressed with how far this truck has made it and its gonna need plenty more to go since its my daily driver now. heres some pics i took earlier. thanks!

I wouldn't mess with the crank shaft seal. With that many miles on it I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to go through the motor.

The rims look great. Maybe you can get a decent deal on a nice set of tires on E-bay or Craiglist.

Psh... you should keep the semi-patriotic paint theme. Who needs white when you have silver?

Oh no. I thought I had joined this thread to get rid of the Grammar ****'s constant harrassment of everything that moves. I guess I'll just have to avoid Major by buying a Ford or something

No one can escape the castigating eye of the Major!

Who did I harrass? and about what....? I do it so often, it's rather hard to keep track.

Oh, and you'd never buy a Ford. No one can hate me that much. In fact, after a while I get quite loveable. : )

I must admit that I used to drive a company car that was an early 90's supercharged Taurus, AND LOVED IT! But I also had my 79 Bonanza in the barn at this time too. I also must admit that my dad went out and bought a new Acura TL Type S this year.
