Default New to the Forum! About to install Cold Air Intake and Throttle Body Spacer!

Hello first post!
I recently purchased a 97' Chevy Cheyenne 1500c with around 120,000k, it has the 4.3L. The truck is really nice, extended cab, came with a tool box and some nice tint which passed inspection! Perfect truck for the motocross track!

The only bad part is the U-Joint is going in the front, it makes a ticking/knocking noise when driving slow, I got under her and felt a lot of play, the part was around $20 at my AutoZone. Hopefully install that.

My K & N Cold Air Intake just came in along with a Throttle Body Spacer, which me and my buddy are going to install later this afternoon, cant wait for the results! Hopefully a little different tone and quicker throttle response. Im also doing an oil change, Im thinking about going with Royal Purple, unless you guys suggest otherwise! First vehicle and I wanna make her last!

Got some work to do, hopefully all nice and easy with much better results, she should drive a lot better! Im hoping to keep modding her! Exhaust or Rims next along with a System!

Thoughts or Suggestions?

I hate to burst your bubble but a throttle body spacer is not going to help anything

Yep, they do a little something on a TBI but not on the MPI system.

rather than buying a bunch of mods you might want to think about just puting a 5.7 vortec in it.
