I have a 2001 Silverado with a 5.3 Vortec and just replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and it starts on the first time now but it still hesitates and barely wants to start. Im aware that this is a very common problem so hopefully somebody can tell me where to start . What would be the problem and if so what might be the best solutions. Thanks

 

Check your fuel pump relay

 

Would that be in the eletric box under the hood?

 

Yes sir I swithched it out with the horn , i guess that would be ok bc there the same
