Default New Motor!!!!

Today I bought a new motor for my 94 k1500. I got it from a junkyard the dude original planned to put it in a race car but someone stole the car. Everything looked ok but there are a couple of diffrences between the original and new. The first being that my oil filter is sideways to avoid hitting the front driveshaft but the one I bought is up and down. I was told that the peice that makes mine sideways would unbolt and fit the new motor, does anybody know if this is true. Another question is the knock sensor plug looks to be different will mine from the original swap over? The last one I have is it didnt come with a throttle body which is why I only had to pay 300, but do I have to have a gasket to put between the intake manifold and throttle body?

To answer your first ? yes with yours being 4x4 and the new being from a car, you will have to swap the oil filter adapter. the knockl sensors should swap, check that they are in the same place. and last you always want to put a gasket on any type of throttle to intake application.
