Looking for new shocks for my stock '04 1500 crew cab silverado. I just put new tires(firestonedueler AT's)on it at 38,000 miles
I plow just a few driveways in the winter so I would like to keep front from sagging if possible.
I tow a tow behind camper short(up to 80 miles) distances about 10 times a summer.
I am thinking of adding air bags for the rear because it sags quite a bit when i connect the camper.
what shock would give me a better ride than the stock, without making it too stiff?
rancho,gabriel,firestone,monroe.. other? looking on ebay but tons of options & a bit confusing when all claim their's is best.

The brand shouldn't matter to much. What does is how they are valved.

 

so what shock is better than the rest? I have put Monroe Sensa-Trac on my previous trucks an they seemed ok, but I was trying to get info as to if there are better shock for similar price.
