Default New truck, first Chevy

I just bought a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 regular cab long box 4.8l v8 automatic 4x4 with 142000 miles. I've owned an old ford since I got my license I'm more knowledgable to them. I'm picking the truck up this Friday so pictures will be then. It is basically rust free from NY so I got lucky So if you guys have any pointers or things I should look out for that would be great. The truck just got a new fuel pump, new shocks, new front rotors and pads also the brake lines have been replaced. Hopefully I did alright at just under 4000...

If you bought from a private party you should have all the maintenance records for the truck. If you bought it without these records then I would assume all the 100k maintenance items shown in the owner's manual have not been done and I would get them done.

Items include
spark plugs and wiring
fuel filter
serpentine belt
brake fluid
coolant
transmission fluid change and new inner filter (if applicable for your truck).
