I bought a new 2015 Silverado
I'm only getting 11 miles a gallon
What is evey one els getting the truck has 100 miles on it 5.3

 

seem that the 5.3 get very bad gas mileage, mine does 10 mpg and doesnt matter if it is city or high way. and on my 04 the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump so , so much for doing that...

 

I have the 4.8. I get around 15.5 mpg in the city with no A/C and about get in the high 14's using the A/C. Could there be that much difference or do our driving habits have something to do with it?

 

right now my truck AC has been broken since last yr or 31 days after i got this truck.. so having AC doesnt effect me and i dont use excessive throttle to get around since i know my truck suck down the fuel either way. and i have it in 2wh high all the time.

 

I have a 2014 with 5.3. I get 12 mpg on e85, 14 mpg with e 10, and 16mpg with non ethanol (rec 90). We are allowed to use non ethanol, now, in Florida.
