hello all. i will be getting a new 2010 silverado in the very near future and will be changing the wheels that come with the truck. the truck will come w/18 inch rims, but i prefer 17 inch. i was curious if a 16 inch will work with the 2010 models, clear the calipers, etc.? also plan on adding tires at 285 size with nothing larger than a 17 inch wheel (i prefer more tire than wheel). I do kind of like the ar23 by american racing, but can find 17 inch, just 16 inch. thanks for any feedback.

 

The 16 inch rim won't work...it doesn't clear the rotors. Has to be at least a 17. Tried it on my dads 08 vmax and it wouldn't work
