I have a 2000 chevy silverado 2500 and I have no brake lights but all the other lights work. I have replaced bulbs, tail light switch, tail light circuit board and checked all fuses and they still don't work what else can I do

 

if the chmbl works check the 10amp veh stop fuse in the underhood fuse box
if both the chmbl and back brake lamps are inop check the 20amp stop lps in the underhood fuse box.
if the 20 amp fuse is good check for battery voltage into the brake switch orange wire. if you have power in...depress the brake pedal and check for power out of the brake switch white wire.

I have checked all fuses they are good I took it to the shop and they said I have power going into the switch but not out so I changed the switch again and same thing no brake lights

 

jumper the switch connector...if the brakes light up...the new switch is bad or you indexed the switch wrong...in either case you need a new switch.

 

THIS is the correct next step to troubleshoot. You could have an electrical or mechanical issue with that switch.

 

I took it to midas and they said I have power going into the switch but none coming out and they told me to replace the switch and I did for the second time and lights still don't work.

 

You need to get a $3 test light or a $15 multimeter and get under and figure out for yourself what's going on. Sounds like (1) you blew a fuse installing the new switch, or (2) the switch is not getting mechanically activated. Find out why positive voltage is not getting "through" that switch when the pedal is pushed down.

Or to to a real mechanic shop, and Midas doesn't qualify as that.
