No climate control after windshield replaced
2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4 65,400 miles. Everything, climate control (air conditioner, temp settings, floor, defrost, etc, settings all working fine until yesterday when Safelite replaced the windshield in my truck and recalibrated the rear view camera.
Now the climate control, ac, heater, blower etc, don't light up or work but the air conditioner is still on and is blowing on the settings that were in place before the windshield and recalibration. Cannot turn the air off or change temp or air flow up or down. No light at all on the climate control area.
I pull all the 2 prong plugs from the inside of the cab on both sides of the dash and they all checked out fine. Haven't been able to make heads or tails out of the ones under the hood. Also cannot check the 3 prong fuses as I don't have a meter for that.
I also took the negative battery cable off, both batteries, and left it off for 5 minutes. Also used the Safelite OBD OB2 computer to reset the codes. Still don't work and no check engine light is on. The only way to get the code is to use the advanced computer stuff.
Any ideas would be appreciated as I don't have an extended warranty and the original warranty is long gone.

U1501 CHEVROLET Meaning
The Local Interconnect Network (LIN) Bus consists of a single wire with a transmission rate of 10.417 Kbit/s. The serial data is transmitted over a LIN circuit between a master control module and other LIN devices within a particular subsystem. If serial data communication is lost between any of the LIN devices on the LIN bus network, the master control module will set a no communication code against the non-communicating LIN device. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set when a supervised periodic message that includes the transmitter device availability has not been received.I pull all the 2 prong plugs from the inside of the cab on both sides of the dash and they all checked out fine. Safelite screwed up - it’s as simple as that. They need to either fix it or pay for the diagnosis and repair at a shop. You need to hound them relentlessly, continuing up the chain of command until you get a hold of somebody willing to listen. Don’t take no for an answer and call at least 3 times a day.
Windshields these days are “smart” as they have sensors for rain and light detection as well as heat for de-icing. Depending on the options your truck has, the windshield they installed may be the wrong one, or maybe the wiring for the sensors was damaged.
The bottom line is everything worked before they replaced the windshield and now it’s not.
This is their responsibility, plain and simple.

They said they would pay for the repair, IF the repair shop says it was something that by changing the windshield made it stop working. However, since I cannot get into a dealer for an estimate or just to find the problem until July 5th, memories fade and so do promises.
Without any light/display information on the control panel, it’s possible a fuse blew and the HVAC is in some kind of default mode.
Here’s the fuses to check in their given locations - I’d recommend using a test light to verify power to both sides of the fuse rather than just a visual inspection (assuming the fuses have test points in the top). Make sure the key is on as needed.
Actual fuse labels will depend on the truck options
Driver side fuse block (remove dash end panel)
PEPS/HVAC 10A - Hot at all times
IPC 10A - Hot at all times
HVAC/AUX HVAC IGN 15A - Key on
Pass side fuse block (remove dash end panel)
FRT BLWR 15A - Hot at all times

I went out to the truck this morning all ready to take it to the dealer for a scan for the probable cause of the problem. Well the truck surprised me and everything is working fine.
The only thing I did was, a couple days prior to today, drive the truck on the highway and slowly merged over the center line, with no traffic coming of course, and let the lane detect or auto collision assist kick in several times. However the climate controls still didn't work that day or the next.
Then this morning I auto started the vehicle, let it run for about 5 minutes, then went out to take it to the shop.
Must be a gremlin in it somewhere that finally got the computer or computers syncing together.
