So what would be the best way to fix it if the ground os it?

 

Replaced the harness bulb socket still an issue. Should I try running the black ground somewhere else to see if that helps?

 

you know, it is hard to say without seeing it.
I would do 1 of 2 things
1 - go to an auto parts store and see if anyone there is knowledgable in electrical stuff.
take him out to your truck and see what he has to say.
#2 take it to an auto electrical shop. You do not want to short out your ECU and all
other electrical componants.

 

Ok so talked to guy who I got it from said bulb under dash burned up. But I have noticed that where he has the power running off harness under dash to the left blinker when I hit my brakes the blinker/parking light lights too as if its a front brake light
