I have a 2005 silverado, 5.3 4x4 4l60E shallow pan, 165k, When i take off in first it revs up and wont shift until about 3000 rpm or at 2500 if i let off the gas, but when it shifts it jumps to third and dogs down, and when i try to get after it, it will try to kick down quick into second and just revs all the way up like its in neutral and doesn't go anywhere, i have all gears, no second, i did a new trans filter and there were no pieces in the bottom of the pan or in the old filter, im thinking a stuck valve, but im only 17 and a bit unsure and hoping someone a little more experienced could give me some help
