Default no start brain buster

vehical: 90 k1500 4x4 TBI 350

i was setting the timing. disconnected the wire on the firewall while it was running. got it to were i wanted it plugged the wire back in, turned the truck off, so i disconnected the battery to clear the check engine. after that it wont start. i have spark and fuel, the timing marks are set, Ive changed the ignition module just to see if it was that but no luck. it wont even start with starter fluid. i normally have no trouble but this one has me by the *****.

any info you think im missing

check the fuses. it's possible one of the ecm or ignition fuses popped.

Hi lvlossyoak,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

Is the engine cranking at all? If not, carefully check your battery cable ends and bolts for corrosion.

If it's cranking, carefully re-check your distributor cap and rotor. Are they new?
