Exclamation no start code 1638
i have a 2001 silverado that wont start . i have fuel spark and good compression hooked up my obd 2 and it gave me p1638 which is my alternator. but shouldnt it start from a boost any way? it will turn over all day but no sign of life at all. could i have a ecm problem without throwing a code?? please help.

Take alt to advance I bet its bad if its that shot it could make u not start
