I just purchased a 09 z71 crew 1500. Inoticed check front passenger tire alrm wason for air, calibrate compass & and wiper fluid. I did all of the above and the alarms are still on. Well today I was driving home and after I passed someone on the road I noticed my oil pressure dropped and alarm read stopengine oil pressurelow. So I immediately pulled over and shut engine off. Checked the oil and it was fine. Go back in and drove it 2 more miles home. It started around 40 but slowly fell to 10 or so. ive heard that the gauge clusters go out pretty regularly or could this be a more serious issue. Im having it towed monday bk to the dealership to have them look at it. I hopeitsjust thecluster

 

have seen the oil pressure sensor filter screen get clogged and cause low pressure to the sensor.

 

Im hoping its just the cluster and they fix it

 

It was the OPS. They dealership is eating this one thankfully.
