oil pressure issues 5.7L
Hello! I have a 94 C1500. When the RPMs are up, like going down the highway, and the engine is good and warm, I am getting about 40psi oil pressure, but at idle it is at 18psi. Sometimes it drops a little lower than that. Any ideas? It is a 95 5.7L TBI engine. Thanks!

When is the last time you did an oil change? What weight oil are you using? Sometimes going to a higher viscosity oil will help increase oil pressure. That won't change the fact that there is wear in the engine.
