OIL in the Radiator...
I opened the cap on the radiator and saw oil in the water.
Hope it's just a head gasket ?
Engine is a crate 350
Question: How many shop hours does it call for to do the head gaskets and is there any other concerns I might need to worry about ?
Thanks in advance...

more than likely a head gasket, make sure u check the cyl deck and heads with a strait edge. i have changed a set of head gaskets without power tools in 8 hrs by myself, so it may be a high hour indicator
could be a head gasket, but how do you know it is oil?
have you refilled the radiator with new coolant anytime recently?
If you mix different types of coolant, an oily sludge will develope.
Maybe you are seeing the sludge if you put coolant in recently.
Also, take out your oil dipstick and take a good smell of the oil on the tip of the dipstick.
If there is a distinct smell of gasoline, your head gaskets are bad.

no...if gas is in the oil, the rings are gone, blown head gaskets put water in the oil, and this is what i would be looking for, water in the oil, u will notice it on the dipstick, the water is under pressure and when it blows the pressure from the water makes it go where u dont want it, also blown head gaskets (at extreme fail) will **** water into the cylinders making it run on 6 cylinders
