My 2006 Silverado has a code P0446. The mechanic said that there is a problem with the valve and that there was an update developed that would keep out dust. Is this covered under my emissions warranty I have 66,000 miles on the truck Thanks for info

Welcome to the forum.
It couldn't hurt to check with your local service department but the 8y/80k federal emission control warranty only covers catalytic converters, ECUs, OBD devices. EVAP components are the 2y/20k variety.
