part swap
im tearing her apart... i already took the intake manifold off and got the stuff for my oil change today and gaskets and what not... but im taking my carb off my 283 and putting a 350 INTAKE manifold on to it.. the only problem i have is the fact that theres more of a slant on the carb heads then there is on the TBI.. cause you have 4 bolts on the front 4 in the middle and 4 on the back of the intake... the 4 in the middle dont bolt in cause the angle diffrence.. i will let you all know if i get this to work or not... wish me luck guys..
kk.. i will get some pics... i cant get gas to pump... i plugged in the plug next to the fuel pump and i know it used to pump gas and now it aint pumping... is it possible for a pump to burn out if it aint being used?? i checked the plug with a test light and it says im getting power "not much but i am getting it" this is what wa wrong with my 4x4 and i ran a toggle switch.. could i just need more power to the pump??
well i got the intake on and i got all the electric hooked up... suzuki guy on the engine that relay pack it has air hoses and elec on it on mine i have almost all of them hooked up "when i got that relay pack i didnt know it was missing a relay" the one im missing has a GREEN plug on it and it also has a VACUUM line off the back of the TBI could this be part of my fuel pump not working or does that one matter??
