I searched around to see if anyone else was a pissed as I was about this. My brother in law showed me last weekend that the 20" chrome rims on my 2010 Silverado were really bland aluminum rims with chrome plastic caps glued on top. I had never noticed this before and couldn't believe it at first. Then he showed me that his new Dodge truck had the same thing. So basically I have hubcaps...wow. What's next, nickel coated plastic pistons?
