Hey im new here. Need some serious help. I removed the wheel skins off my 2011 silverado so i can have the black steel wheels show. But the only problem is this glue/adhesive that is all over the steel wheels!!!lol. Does anyone know what i can do to remove this crud????

I've tried Adhesive remover, 3m eraser wheel, Acetone, Goof off, Gas. I can get most of it off(Big Chunks) with a razor. Just need to find what would work for the left over thin stuff.

 

Try a heat gun.

 

Tried the heat gun also. Just returned that back today. I need something super strong, i dont mind paintin the wheel again

 

Did you try good ole "Carburator cleaner" in the spray can.....??
