I had my instrument cluster replaced a few months ago, and later I noticed that the buttons on my steering wheel (the information buttons that I can push and view my oil life, average MPG, etc) no longer function. Well, I moved 1700 miles so it's not practical to take the truck back to where I had the work done. I'm wondering if they left a wire unplugged or something of the sort?

I have never heard of anyone with this problem and I cannot get a straight answer out of any repair shop besides how fast they want to charge a $100 diagnosis fee.
