I had to buy the whole unit cause the cable broke, and window fell into the door, scared the S@#t out of me when it happened to. took less than 20 minutes to replace the drivers door, and I swapped the fact speakers at the same time very easy to install just dont overtighten the bolts cause they can bind the tracks inside.

Excellent, got to love a fix that only cost a bit of elbow grease....
Might want to do the others also, once done they will probably be okay for a year or so but it depends on the environment that you drive in.

Now this is what I like to see, we saved you (and hopefully a few more folks) money.

Don't be shy, CoffeyLover. When you can help by sharing your experience, jump in. Maybe I'll save money next. It wouldn't be the first time.

Yea, I did the other three at the same time, thought it was a wise thing to do.

if you read the whole post, you might need to replace the whole unit. the motor is not the problem most of the time. alot of times it seems to be the cable, and you have to buy the whole unit with cable, track, and motor. if the grease did not work I think this might be your fix. alot of times when you get the door apart you can see the cable and tell if it is starting to go bad.
