Hi,

Have a 2015 Silverado 1500.

Is there a way to program the headlights to shut off as soon as the ignition is turned off? I went through all the DIC settings and could not find anything.

Seems like they're set to stay on for 30 seconds or so after truck is shut off.

Exit Lighting


Some exterior lamps and the interior lamps come on at night, or in areas with limited lighting when the key is removed from the ignition. The exterior and interior lamps remain on for a set amount of time and then automatically turn off. The interior lamps do not come on if the dome lamp control is in the Off position.
The exterior lamps turn off immediately by turning the exterior lamps control off.
This feature can be changed. See Vehicle Personalization.



Comfort and Convenience Select and the following may display:

• Auto Memory Recall
• Easy Exit Options
• Chime Volume
• Reverse Tilt Mirror
• Auto Mirror Folding

 

Could not open link (I am "unathorized"), but looked up the Exit Options in the manual.

That's exactly what I was looking for.

On my 2010, it was much easier to find.
