I'm new to this site, let alone chevy trucks.
Sorry if this isnt in the right section.

I own a 92 gmc sierra k2500.

My 4lo works, 2hi works, neutrul works but when I try to go into 4hi it wont work.
It'll go into 4hi but it doesnt seem to engage. I dont know much about trucks except for the common 305 & 350's in them. I can tell you it is stiff to get into 2hi, neutrul, and 4lo but when I pull it back into 4hi it seems to easy compared to putting it into anything else.

If anybody can give me an idea what it is I would appreciate it.

This thread is solved.

I noticed when I put it in 4 low it wasnt going as far as it should have. I bent the shifter forward so it would pull more into 4hi. Works now.
