Hi Guys, hope you can help with this problem i'm having.

2000 silverado 4x4 5.3. When i shift from park to drive the tow haul light comes on sporadically. I can jiggle the shifter and it goes off. This happens when driving as well. The tow/haul featuremay suddenly come on or if i try to activate it wont come on. This is obviously a connection problem, just wondering if anyone has seen this before or can tell me where to start looking??

possible short in thr button or the wiring that runs down the shifter its in an orange case
