Default problems help please!!!!
my truck has a loud rattle/knock when i hammer it off the line. it doesnt do it if i take off easy, and it wont do it of i spin tires til it grabs. any help please

Well, assuming it's the '98 1500 ("C" or "K"?), when the cat goes bad it sorta sounds like a bag of hammers.

What's the mileage on this bad boy?

I think you got some play in the rearend... Is everything tight back there? I know it sounds dumb, but is the spare tire up all the way and tight?

Did you eliminate the catalytic converter(s) when you went to DE? How do you get it through state emissions inspection?

the u joints are tight. we dont have inspections

Does it have a different Gear set in it then stock? If so might have been shimmed out wrong and you have to much backlash.

its been fine until last fall when i put 3/4 ton leaf springs on it

how about we start here... where does the noise sound like it is coming from?
