I have a 2012 silverado 1500 ls with the 4.8l engine, wanting to get a programmer for better gas mileage and more power cause at the moment I'm averaging 12.5 mpg with a 5inch lift and 33inch tires on it, any suggestions on brands or anything would be greatly appreciated

 

dont waste you money, get new gears to get u to stock mpg. then get a exhaust and a blackbear tune from justin.

 

Minimum 4.11 gears and a blackbear autocal tune. 2wd or 4wd?

Do you drive city or hwy a lot?

 

It's about 60/40 a little bit more highway then city

 

I'd do 4.11 or 4.10 gears front and back with a custom tune from blackbear, or if you tow every now and then do 4.56s and a custom tune from blackbear.
