I'm looking to purchase a Silverado, and when we went out to look at the new ones, they were out of our price range. We found a couple used ones (2010, 2011, & 2013) that we liked and were in our price range. I am thinking the 1500 is the best for what I need as well. I have a few questions, and this is the best place to ask.

1. Should I wait until this Summer or Fall when the 2014 line has deals, or will the deals not drop them into the 30K range? I like the changes they made to the newest lines (Engine, Nav System, etc.), but like I said, right now, they are out of my price range.

2. With the used ones, what are some items I should make sure are included on it? I have to have Crew Cab (family) and 4WD, and I'd like the V8 Engine.

3. What model is the most common? I'd really like it to be Z71, and like the LT, but I noticed Z71 isn't standard on all LT models, but can be added.
