Yup you do. From what I understand 03 thru 06 ( I don't know about 07 08 trucks ) the warning chimes are played thru the radio and drivers door speaker. I just bought and will changeout this weekend my stereo. I got everything needed ( I hope ) from wal-mart. Scosche makes an interface adapter part# GMT2049 Dash kit. This also can be bought from wal-mart. If you bought awiring harness, it may not be needeed. The interface is supposed to have all that you need. If you choose not to you use the interface, the installation instructions says you could loose some or all of the following, seatbelt warning chime, lights left on chime, RAP (retained accessory power ), key left in ignition, +12 volt accessory power at radios location, low fuel. Hope this helps, good luck.

40 is and aggressive, deep tone. It will be loud both inside and outside the cab.

50 series is a medium sounding muffler. Youll hear it when you step on it have a mellow hum at idle.
