Default Raising a 2007 Z71

I have an 07 Z71. How do I go about raising the front end of the truck up using the torsion bar? Can I get step by step instructions or a brief description somewhere? I just got new rims and tires and the tires are a little bit wider and rub a tad on my mud flaps so I was hoping that this would help prevent the wear. How about realigning. will these need to be realigned once the truck is raised? Thanks!

Is it a classic or a newer body style like 07-present?

Then it shouldn't be torsion bar. It's a strut spacer that goes on top or bottom to level it out. Check out ccm or topguncustomz levelin kits. 2.5" ones

I have 285 wide tires. Would a 1 inch leveling kit work or would I have to go to a 2 inch?

Have you heard anything about these leveling kits? I do not do much off roading and my suspension doesnt take a beating. I do live where the winters get snowy and icy though. Thoughts?

they aren't bad kits at all. I've installed a few of em. They just don't actually "level" the truck out. It's still a lil shorter up front. I'd go with these. They really level the truck out
