Default rattling engine noise 07 Silverado

Hey everybody. Have an issue with something idk what tho. When accelerating around 1500 & 2200 rpm's I hear a distinct noise coming from the drivers side engine. Please help. My truck is to nice to make an annoying sound upon acceleration.

Need more info. What does it sound like? It could be pinging which can occur when accelerating hard. Do you use high octane gas?

Would you please provide additional information? Does it occur every time when accelerating? Or just during the day, night, etc.? Any additional information could be beneficial.

Please feel free to PM me if you prefer.

It happens every now and then. But im not flooring it, its just steady. Alsi I find it to happen more when I just get in truck and go. Instead of letting it idle for like 5 minutes or so.

The Cats could be getting "Loose" inside their shell.
That might explain why is does more when the truck is cold. The lower RPM harmonics can also come into play and vibrate them.

Knock on them with your hand and listen for the noise.
