Default Driver side rattling noise

Just curious if anyone else has experienced a rattling noise in the driver's side door. I know a lot of people have reported issues regarding the mirror. I didn't know if that might be what I'm hearing. I just went to the dealer yesterday and they said they fixed it by tightening the body mounts. Nope, so I'm headed back Monday.

Are you sure it is in the door and not the left side of the IP near the lighting ****?

I'm not exactly sure, but it's bugging the hell out of me. I'll check that out. If that is where it's coming from, is there a quick fix?

I had a rattle in the driver's door after they repaired the body damage. Turned out that they broke off one of the tabs on the access cover behind the door handle. Probably not what you have tho unless someone has had the door panel off.

You know that reminds me; if you have had the door handles or speakers in the front doors changed out many mechanics are not getting both bolts (the two behind the cover shark mentions) back in correctly.
There are metal retaining clips that the bolts screw into and many times during the reinstallation of the door panel one of these clips will be out of place and some mechanics elect to leave out the bolt rather than disassemble the door again, this can cause one nice grade-a rattle.

I had a driver's side rattle. Sounded like a rock inside the frame just behind the wheel. Turned out to be the door hinges. Hit them with a little WD-40 and it stopped rattling immediately.

I checked the IP, nothing there. I brought it back in this morning and the tech rode with me and heard the noise first hand. He said he may need a few hours to tear the door panel off. It does sound like a clip or something rattling, but up around 35 mph it seems to stop or is rattling so fast I can't hear it. To my knowledge, no one has taken the door panel off. I'm going to have to bring it back next week, I'll keep you posted.

I seem to get a rattle from the roof panel. I guess I should turn up the stereo.
