I have a clink in the reanend when going from first to second at slow speed. this is a 2008 z71.

Your truck is pretty new but I would check your u-joints for play they go out more often then the rear end and sound like the rear end.

Might also need to pack the slip joint or yoke with grease. These trucks tend to make clunking noises with out grease in the slip joint.
