I was wondering if anybody knew what it would take to replace bucket seats in a 2001 1500 HD with a bench seat. I don't know if would be a direct bolt on or would I need a kit or ?????? Any info would be appreciated.

 

This is purely assumption on my part but I wouldn't think it would take much (if any) customizing at all. Providing you are installing a bench from a 2001 truck (or similar era) I would be surprised if it wasn't as simple as unbolting the buckets and bolting in a bench. I took buckets out of my sisters '88 burb and put in a bench seat from her '81 1/2 ton. No mods req'd. I would hope that seats would be completely interchangeable today still.
