I have a 5 speed manual 4.3L C1500 95', it wont go in to 4th gear. My dad bought a rebuilt tranny, i would like some tips on how to take it off and put the other one. If anyone can, I would like a vid of someone removing one,( I'm a visual person) it would really help me repair my very first truck.

they have plenty of videos on Youtube on how to do this. It shouldnt be that hard because it is a manual.

 

youtube will help just remember or lable where everything went and be carefull actually dropping the tranny it a heavy S.O.B also it helps out alot to get a tackle box that you can write in to store all the bolts an such
