I just put in some Hella lights for back up lights and tied them into the Trailer wiring w/ a relay powered by the trailer reverse wire. I want to put a switch in the cab to turn them on randomly when i desire. Im curious if i can just tie into the light green reverse wire in the cab on the fire wall, instead of running another wire all the way back. If i do this, will it hurt anything in the truck/transmission when i turn on the switch in the cab? If so then i will just run a wire back, but before i did it i figured i would check with some one smarter than I
