I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 4X4, 4.8L. At first I just noticed a pinging noise (kind of like a loose bolt with a washer rattling on it or something, but loud) coming from the drivers side. Sounds like it is either in the dash or around the steering column maybe. Now here in the last week I have noticed a roar like noise at the same MPH on the drivers side. This comes with slight vibration that is felt in the gas pedal and some in the steering wheel. I have checked the U-Joints and have looked for loose bolts, leaks, and other obvious possibilities but cant seem to notice anything out of the ordinary.
