Post Loud roar at 55

Hey everyone i'm a new member and long time chevy lover! I have a 95 silverado ext cab with a 350 and 5 speed manual trans. At about 55 to 60 mph i have a loud roar inside the cab. No vibrating just a roar and it doesnt do it unless i'm from 55 to 60. Could i be the midshaft bearing? I crawled under and moved the drive shaft around a little, there was maybe 1/4inch of movement. Any ideas would be very helpful.

Check the fluid level in your Transmission.

Did this just start suddenly or has it came on gradually. Have you done any work to the trk. prior to noise?

A drive shaft brng should be noticable at most any speed. You might check the ex. to see if it is contacting anything.
