shift solenoid
going to be putting in a used trans that has been sitting.
need to install a new case wiring harness. just in case want to test shift solenoids. do i just remove and jumper to activate or is an ohm check enough. what else should i do while i'm in there.

You can check the solenoid coils with an ohm meter, that dosen't ensure they work, however it does if good, tell that it isn't shorted or open.
